Hydropower potential of Nepal

Nepal is the second largest in hydro-power all over the world after Brazil which is the first one.Nepal is full of mountains and range of Himalaya which are full of snow all over the year.The highest peak in earth"The mountain Everest" is also in Nepal.The rivers starting snowy mountain and falling from very high level to low level has enriched Nepal with the plenty of hydro-power potential.The normal investigation has already approved that 83,000MW of electricity can be generated in normal ROR format.But it can be increased in multiple amount if the water in rainy season is stored for generation like proposed Budhigandhaki hydro-project.

Now technology has been developed for the transmission of power for long distant without significant loss of power.The technology is DC transmission.China,the honest and reliable neighbor of  Nepal has already using the technology..So the electricity of Nepal can be sold all over the world.Market is not limited to India only.So Nepal can earn a lot of money by selling electric power like Arabian country which earn money by selling oil.Hydropower is the most reliable source of power in comparison to the other source of electric power.Europe and America has already declared to replace the oil vehicle with electric vehicle.So the future of Nepal is brighter than the Arabian country.The oil there is for only limited period but the electric power in Nepal is unlimited.

Nepal has other other resources like agriculture,tourism ,cement industry ,forest etc.for the nation to developed.So People of Nepal should be proud of resources which is listed 13th large all over the world and try to develop them from each and every step of life.Our future is bright like Europe and America.We should learnt from Switzerland which geological condition is similar to Nepal.
